FAQs

  • Is there a way to reserve parking at Port of Galveston?

When you're planning to take a cruise out of the Port of Galveston, you'll be able to book your parking spot online for any of the Port's official lots. You can also save money at the same time. Simply take advantage of the pre-paid parking program and you'll come away with a $5 discount off your daily fees. Get more information at www.portofgalveston.com/index.aspx?nid=91.
  • Should I park first or drop off my passengers when I arrive?

It's recommended that you drop off passengers and luggage first at the cruise terminal. You'll get help from porters with your bags while police officers will direct you to the parking lot. From there, you can take a free shuttle bus back to the cruise terminal. Some lots do offer luggage drop-off but it's faster to do it the other way.
